That’s right, the Big Daddy himself is in the driver’s seat of the Swamp Rat 37 electric powered dragster. Shawn Lawless of Lawless Industries, is overseeing the electronic drive components of Don Garlit’s Swamp Rat 37 dragster. Garlits has already broken the NEDRA (National Electric Drag Racing Association) record for the 1/4 mile and is now attempting to break the 200mph barrier for electric drag racers.
NEDRA once again shows the interest in clean energy vehicle racing that is growing by leaps and bounds on all levels.
